Our Services
Creating Elevations
We will create a plan involving the placement of windows, doors and any other architectural elements that a room would involve. We can add window treatments, accessories, and furniture to visualize how a room will come together, right down to the
selected fabric. As I can download the fabric into each element. This a very important tool to have while you are shopping around for the perfect pieces to reflect your personal style.
Space Planning
This is especially helpful in room plans where the furniture may have to float. This can be challenging for the home owner, however through the challenges we find creativity.
In space planning we can place furniture, accessories, different floor applications, ie wood, carpet , tile, just about anything that you can imagine. The different placements and colors allows you a choice before making a major monetary commitment.
Selecting Fabrics
This is a daunting task for most, we will make this fun and rewarding for you, by using our experience, eye for design and best judgement researching hundreds of fabrics and narrowing down to a 4-8 beautiful choices. Choosing the proper fabric for the proper placement is important on many levels, depending on the rub, hand, scale or the print, could determine if it is proper to use it for upholstery, window treatments, bedding and or pillows. We can show this visually by creating an elevation drawing incorporating all the fabrics that you have selected.
Window Treatments
This quiets and softens a room. Choosing the best fabric for the best application is imperative. You may want to expose your beautiful trim work or you may want to hide an imperfection. You want them to function or simply look fabulous or both. We can do this for you. We have wonderful workrooms that can fabricate anything! You will have a unique treatment designed for your home.
Upholstery
I feel the "u" in upholstery stands for unique. From the hand (or the feel) of the fabric to the construction of the piece fabric is so very important. Is the piece eight way hand tied? Is the cushion wrapped in down? Is it made of hard wood? Is it domestic, if not what is the country of origin? All these questions are important and I can tell you why.
Selecting Furniture
I have access to hundreds of vendors and have relationships with their service departments. I am able to bring the you the best furniture for your home and ultimately your budget. These are pieces to which you would not have access otherwise. I also can advise you on the best furniture pieces based on size, look ,make and brand names. Furniture is an investment and making a mistakes could be very costly, disappointing and time consuming. I accept all risk out for you. In addition space planning will give you a visual choice of furniture and a selection of different floor plans before you order.
Paint Consultations
When choosing paint it is important to keep in mind what else will be in the room. If possible, choose a rug or fabric before painting. Choosing paint for the walls and ceiling helps create a "story" without any chapter breaks. Each one of your rooms is a different chapter, each telling the same story but with different elements to that book, making it a book you can't put down! This will be your home a story that you will never tire of.
What is your inspiration? A favorite piece from your mother, a piece you found while traveling or shopping? As far as paint finishes goes, I will give my best advice from experience where what finishes should go where and why.

Shopping for Accessories
Oh boy, this can be a tough one on your own. I have to say this has to be a client's number one complaint about their decorating. "The room just doesn't feel complete because i don't know or I afraid of accessorizing". This is very similar to choosing lighting which I will get to in the next bullet point. As clothes are to furniture, jewelry is to accessories and lighting. These two are very important as again can be very expensive and time consuming, and it is what ties your STYLE together and tells your STORY!
Imagine this, shopping for the accessories, bringing them home, unpacking them, trying to place them only to realize it just isn't right or I love it , but where can I use it? Returning it, dealing with the receipts and credit cards and repeat. I will take this work away from you either by shopping for you or with you. I promise if we shop together it will be so much fun and you will be able to see shopping for accessories through my eyes, a puzzle we finish together.
Lighting
Oh, the "truly the jewelry" of the home! I cannot stress the importance of lighting in a room. From strictly the functional aspect of it to the ultimate beauty of it, whether it be dramatic or understated. Over the last decade lighting has taken on a life of it's own, Thomas Edison would truly be proud that we have come so far and are so creative.
I have a wonderful relationship with a handful of lighting experts that allow me to choose the perfect lighting both functionally and ascetically. I have an excellent electrician that I can also recommend that has the motto that I hold "anything can be done".
Flooring
Focusing on the bottom up! Some may love wall to wall carpeting, so many styles to choose from! Some may love hardwood floors, with the versatility of area rugs. The choices are really endless from tile to cork and everything in between.
Kitchen and Bath Remodel
The kitchen is the heart of the home. With so many wonderful choices, having a helping hand can make drudgery into a wonderfully fulfilling project. I have a wonderful custom cabinet maker that can work within your budget to create a unique and functional kitchen. With so many appliances where do you begin?
