Oh this was so much fun meeting Doug Wilson from Trading Spaces at a karaoke bar. Although he can be over the top, I love his creativity and enthusiasm when designing a space. You should hear him sing!
Doug's style is definitely inspiring. I love to meet and pick fellow designer's brains; the juices begin to flow to bring unique design to the surface.
I love his minimal approach with surprising twists. His bold approach can be tamed to match any decor. His right brain is never sleeping. I feel a connection with Doug in this way. My creativity never takes a rest; the client inspires me, whether it is a homeowner or business owner to design a retail space. I believe my enthusiasm to bring the unexpected is contagious; the client starts thinking like this was as well.
This is a beautiful time of year to decorate and be inspired by nature and the perfect reason to think about window treatments. As not to be overwhelming, the outside view should be framed not blocked.
