bathroom-3

The design challenge:  a bathroom for two sisters, one personality is full of life, the other approaches life with gentle abadon.  A real challenge to find a happy medium with existing style of bathroom.  A beautiful wall covering and matching fabric did the job. The flowers were the soft element, and the bold colors gave us the personality.  It is important in small spaces to keep the eye moving; hence the matching fabric and wall covering.  Add coordinating towels with a perfect wake up slogan, and girls have a fun bathroom that will serve them well through the years!

A small narrow girl’s bathroom-this bathroom was spectacular from the black and white tile to the fuchsia painted walls-all designed by client and her husband. They brought me in for the window dressing. I was flattered and couldn’t wait to start.

We chose a velvety fuchsia for a roman shade with funky zebra trim and trim.

It is very important in small spaces to keep thing monochromatic, this way the eye travels easily and gives the feeling of a much bigger space.
