I grew up in numerous homes --with a great family and fun loving furry friends, which most people call pets.  As my father climbed the corporate ladder, we moved, which was often.  Another new house was never easy, but my Mother, a talented seamstress, was always able to magically transform each 'house' into a beautiful and warm home.  I vividly remember all of our custom window treatment, along with the seventies, eighties, and nineties decor;  learning what is timeless and what is trendy and how you can combine the two for a very intriguing room, and realizing that these special touches are so important in making your space your very own.  This is your space, together we will make it fresh and creative.

Being the daughter of a very creative mother, as my Italian family would say, “I did not lick off the grass.”  I was learning about color placement and design as I grew and moved to each new house. Viola, my love of interior design and decorating was born!  I turned that love into my profession, interior design. I studied under Andrew limone, a very gifted, interior designer who’s gentle wisdom and advice, is to "listen to your clients, really listen."

It is also important to me to thank all of the wonderful and reliable people that work with me.  I could not do this alone, so many thanks to my electrician, painter, faux painter, paper hanger, master craftsman and installer, and my assistant.  I could not do any of this without them!

M. Designs believe strongly in giving back, therefore we donate to habitat for humanity, either through donations of our time or goods.  We have a few special families, if you are ever looking to purge, please let me know if you have any gently used furniture.
